Open Enrollment

Open enrollment has officially started and will run from May 1, 2024 - May 31, 2024. Open enrollment is your annual opportunity to make changes to your benefits elections. All changes need to be made through Oracle Cloud no later than May 31, 2024.

Eligibility Requirements

The following APS employees are eligible to enroll in all APS benefits, except as noted below, for the 2024-2025 plan year during open enrollment:

  • Contracted salaried employees who are contracted for 20 (or more) hours per week for the 2024-2025 school year
  • Contracted hourly employees who are expected to work 20 (or more) hours per week during the 2024-2025 school year
  • Employees (including those on an agreement for services (AFS) and non-contracted hourly employees) who worked an average of 30 (or more) hours per week for APS during the period of April 16, 2023 through April 15, 2024.  AFS employees are only eligible for medical, dental and vision plans (including HSA and FSA).  If you believe you are eligible, but were not notified of your eligibility to enroll, please email a request to review your status to [email protected]

For employees not returning for the 2024-2025 school year but wishes to change coverage through the end of the contract year you must make benefits elections during the open enrollment period.  

Any employee on a leave of absence during open enrollment will receive an open enrollment packet by mail.  It is important to make sure your mailing address is up to date in Oracle to ensure the packet is emailed to the correct address.

Benefits Open Enrollment Fair

On May 21, 2024 the Benefits Office will be hosting an in-person Benefit Fair at the PLCC.  Vendors will be in attendance to provide information.  During the session the Benefits staff will be available to assist employees who need support with open enrollment.
