District staff welcome the newest APS educators at Hinkley High School.

“Everybody’s so pumped to be here. I’m excited to see all the new faces, and the returning ones. This is a wonderful district to work for.”
Bailey Bloomfield, High School Board-Certified Behavior Analyst

“I have a really nice back to school life. I get all the little, tiny kids in their first school experience ever, so sometimes it means a lot of chaos. But it’s so fun! All the kids and parents are so excited.”
Carolyn Ruiz-Austin, Preschool Board-Certified Behavior Analyst

“You get a new batch of students and you’re creating a classroom to fit their needs. So it’s an opportunity to learn your students, to learn yourself and to grow through the year.”
Belinda Flores, Kindergarten Teacher, Kenton Elementary School

“It’s a new start, and a continuation of a story. It’s my first year at APS, so I'm excited about all the new things, especially getting to know the kids.”
Jeremy Bell, Social Worker, Mrachek Middle School

“It means getting into the classroom, trying my new ideas and being a safe space for my students, so they know they always have somewhere they can come and express themselves.”
Jennice Bustamante, 4th Grade Teacher, Virginia Court Elementary School
