As we approach the end of the school year, Aurora Public Schools is thrilled to invite you to our first-ever End of the Year Block Party—a community-wide celebration filled with fun, food and school pride. The date, time and location are as follows:

Date: Saturday, May 10
 Time: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Location: Professional Learning and Conference Center (PLCC),
15771 East 1st Avenue, Aurora, CO 80011

This family-friendly event is open to all APS students, families, staff and community members. Join us for a day of celebration that will include:

  • Live music and entertainment
  • Student showcases highlighting creativity, talent and achievement
  • Fun games and hands-on activities for all ages
  • Free food and refreshments
  • Opportunities to connect with APS schools, staff and programs

As we celebrate our collective accomplishments, we’re especially proud to highlight the talent and diversity of our students. If you or your student would like to showcase a project, performance, or group achievement, we encourage you to submit a request through our Student Performer/Showcase Form by the end of the day on Monday, May 5. Whether you’re sharing research, art, music, dance or a team project, this is a chance to shine!

Whether you’ve been part of APS for years or just joined our community, this event is a chance to come together and celebrate all we’ve accomplished this year. It’s also a great opportunity to meet other families, support student talent and kick off the summer with positivity and connection.

No registration or tickets are necessary—just come ready to enjoy the day. We hope to see you there!
