Approving Technology Requests on the Learn Platform

All software and hardware  in Aurora Public Schools must be approved in the Learn Platform before making a request to purchase or use regardless if it is free or not.  All programs, software and applications (apps) used by district staff will be regularly reviewed by the APS Division of Technology, Risk Management and the Legal Office to ensure they comply with district legal requirements and align with current curriculum and instructional goals, student data privacy, current software licensing and digital accessibility compliance.

Why does all technology have to be approved on the Learn Platform?
