What are the Application Requirements?
Students entering grades Kindergarten through 8th grade may apply for the lottery for admittance to Aurora Quest K-8.
In-district students (those residing within APS boundaries) will receive priority placement in the Quest lottery. Out-of-district students may still apply, but seats are filled after prioritizing all eligible in-district applicants.
Gifted Identification Requirement
To attend Aurora Quest K-8, applicants must first be pre-qualified as gifted and talented or officially high potential by the APS Office of Advanced Academics and Gifted Services.
All students who receive a seat in the Quest lottery must be formally identified as gifted and talented or high potential at the time of application. If your child is not already identified, but you feel they might qualify for gifted services, please reach out to your current school's Gifted and Talented Facilitator to initiate the identification process.
