The FACE Farmers Markets are strategically hosted across nine APS school sites, allowing us to reach students and families from 41 schools across the district. Through these markets, we served 2,543 households and 12,562 individuals.
This program is designed to provide fresh and culturally relevant produce at no cost to APS families. With many households experiencing food insecurity due to rising living costs, reductions in benefits, and limited access to nutritious options, the market serves as a community-centered response to these challenges.
Families are encouraged to connect with their school liaison to locate the nearest market or view our market flyer for upcoming dates and locations. * A flyer will come out each quarter with an updated schedule.
