The Family Food Centers model was adopted in partnership with Children's Hospital Colorado. Designed to function as a food pantry with an emphasis on choice, culturally relevant foods, and fresh, locally sourced goods, Family Food Centers supports the belief that improved nutrition directly contributes to better academic performance.
We are proud to announce that we have expanded our Family Food Centers across the district! In addition to the Crawford Family Food Center, we now have Family Food Centers at Mrachek middle school, Harmony Ridge, Mosley, and we are opening in Altura Elementary.
