The Young Men of Color Program began at the beginning of the 2019-20 school year to empower young men of color through four pillars of connection, belonging, regulation, and leadership development. The Young Men of Color program leverages students’ potential with school, family, and community collectively wrapped around the student with social and  emotional well-being, mentorship, and academic support. Through these supports APS young men of color cultivate leadership skills and build connections within their schools and communities.
