Mote

Mote is an accessibility tool that is provided to all APS students. 

It is an extension that is pushed to all Chromebooks, but can also be accessed at app.mote.com. Mote provides a large variety of accessibility options for students, including text-to-speech, translation, talk-to-text, dictionaries, and much more. Slide Translato

Slide Translato makes any Slideshow or Form accessible through quick translation.

All staff and students can use Slide Translato to translate both slides and forms! Please look for this addon in Google Slides and Forms! And click this link for more support.

Google Read Along

Read Along uses Google’s speech-to-text technology to listen to a student read aloud. 

A virtual reading buddy provides immediate assistance, creating a "safety net" for students who may struggle. This is an app and can be accessed through the Waffle or  readalong.google.comRead Along is designed to provide support for students with Dyslexia or decoding challenges. Additionally, it provides visual tracking, on-demand pronunciation support, and real-time feedback. Read Along supports over 10 languages (including Spanish, Hindi, and Arabic), and provides a "low-stakes" environment for students to practice reading. Grackle bridges the gap between digital content creation and universal accessibility in education.

Operating as an add-on for Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Slides), Grackle automatically scans assignments, syllabus, documents, and learning materials for accessibility barriers. It guides users with step-by-step support to correct formatting errors, structure alt-text for images, and ensure documents are fully compatible with screen readers.Grackle allows us to provide our community with accessible documents and support our adherence to Clolrado HB21-11.

Kami

Kami is an all-in-one annotation tool that transforms any document, PDFs, images, Google Docs, etc., into an interactive learning opportunity. 

Kami is an accessibility and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) tool that provides students with multiple ways to engage with content and express their knowledge. Kami can be accessed through the chrome extensions. It empowers students with a versatile set of annotation and expression tools, including text-to-speech, voice-to-text typing, translation, captions, and more.
