Aurora Public Schools Board of Education Special Meeting
The Aurora Public Schools Board of Education will have four director seats open this fall. The Board of Education is a seven-member group elected by voters to provide leadership and establish policies for the school district. Board members are elected at-large, serve four-year terms and receive no monetary compensation. Board candidates run on a non-partisan basis and do not need to be educators. The election will be held on November 2, 2021. This information meeting will provide participants the opportunity to ask questions about the election process and learn more about the responsibilities of being a board member.
The election process information will be presented by Aurora Public Schools Legal Counsel Brandon Eyre and Meghan Cowan.
